Pain Foundation Limited would like to congratulate Professor Paul Glare on his nomination and award as a Member of the Order of Australia for his significant service to medicine in the fields of pain management and palliative care.
Professor Paul Andrew Glare AM has been a director of the Pain Foundation and Director of the Michael J Cousins Pain Research Centre since 2016. In 2007 he was recruited by Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York to be the Chief of the Pain & Palliative Care Service. He remained at MSKCC until early 2016 when he returned to Sydney to take up the position of Chair of Pain Medicine at the University of Sydney vacated by Michael Cousins AO.
